I’m Chris Mejia, founder of CM4 Advisory.
My career has been shaped by entrepreneurship, business ownership, and the realities of leading a company. As a logistics executive and business owner, I have managed operations, employees, customers, vendors, cash flow, growth, and the difficult decisions that come with being responsible for an organization.
I also earned my MBA, which strengthened my understanding of strategy, finance, and organizational leadership. But some of my most valuable lessons did not come from a classroom—they came from solving real problems when time, money, customer relationships, and employees’ livelihoods were at stake.
Through that experience, I saw how easily growing businesses can become dependent on outdated processes, disconnected software, spreadsheets, text messages, and the owner’s memory. Business owners often know something needs to improve, but they may not have the time or internal resources to determine where to begin.
I founded CM4 Advisory to help solve that problem.
My approach is straightforward: start with the business problem, understand how the work is actually being done, improve the underlying process, and then apply the right technology. Artificial intelligence can be incredibly valuable, but only when it addresses a genuine need and produces a measurable result.
CM4 Advisory helps owner-led businesses strengthen their operations, eliminate repetitive work, improve decision-making, and implement practical AI solutions without losing the human judgment and relationships that made them successful.
As a San Antonio business owner, I am especially committed to helping local contractors, service companies, professional firms, and growing small businesses gain access to practical guidance they can trust.
I’m also continuing my education in business and entrepreneurship law, deepening my understanding of the legal and regulatory issues that affect business owners. CM4 Advisory is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice, but this education supports my broader goal of becoming a more knowledgeable and capable advisor.
I understand what it feels like to carry the responsibility of a business. My goal is not to overwhelm clients with technology or hand them a report that never gets implemented. It is to become a trusted partner who helps them build stronger systems, make better decisions, and move forward with greater clarity and control.
